District of Columbia Notary Public Applications Are Available Online

(Washington, DC) In response to numerous requests from the public, the Fenty administration has moved to smooth the application process for Notaries Public. The Office of the Secretary’s Notary Commissions and Authentications division has made the notary public application available for download (in pdf format) on the Office of the Secretary website.  By removing the requirement that prospective Notaries visit the office in person to obtain an application, we are creating a “one-stop shopping” experience.  Please visit the Office of Notary Commissions and Authentications website for more details and complete instructions.
